Another year and another championship for the 2010 Women’s swim team. The Lady Devils beat the nearest rival team by over 600 points at the Bay Valley Conference championship. This marks the fourth year in five and the third year in a row they have won the championships.

The Devils were lead by Community College All-American swimmer Brittany Wilson who broke three freestyle school records this year. She broke the 50, 100, and 200 yard freestyle records qualifying for the State Swim Meet. She won the Bay Valley Conference championships in the 100 and 500 yard freestyle.  Her selection to the Community College All-American Team was by virtue of her times in the 100, 200, and 500 yard freestyle events.

Kailey Carter also qualified for the State meet both in the 100 I.M., and 100 butterfly. She was the Bay Valley champion in the 50 yard breaststroke.

Other Bay Valley champions were Stevie Wills in the 100 breaststroke. The combination of Wills, Wilson, Carter and Jessie Larsen or Becca Dawn combined to win the Bay Valley Conference in the 200, 400, 800 yard freestyles, and 200 yard medley relay.

The Devil Diving team of Danielle Taijeron, Kaila Adams, and Morgan Penner placed high in both the 1 meter and 3 meter boards throughout the year.

Other outstanding members of this year’s team were the "Rest of the Whole Team". Every member scored and contributed to our championship season. Everyone swam their personal best. Also another great job by our coaches McCall, Miller, Smith, and Halpin. "Great Job lets do it again," said Coach Halpin.
