College Athletic Facilities
The athletics facilities
at Merced College are among the finest in the state. Spread over 33 acres,
the athletics complex includes:
- Gymnasium
with a seating capacity of 2500 for Volleyball and men's & women's
Basketball
- Olympic-Sized
Swimming Complex for men's & women's water polo and swimming
- Lighted
Baseball and Softball Fields
- Soccer
Complex which includes a varsity field and two community-use
fields
- Football
Practice Fields
- Lighted
Football Stadium which seats 8.000 and is also used as part
of the track-and-field complex, which includes separate throw rings
for the shot put, hammer, discus, and javelin.
Each of the facilities
boasts state-of-the-art scoreboards as well as concession stand capability.
Student athletes come to Merced College to perform in exceptionally high-quality
surroundings.
