Career Exploration in Medical Imaging

Registration Procedures

 

 

1. Register for RADT 50 at Admissions & Records.  Register early, space is limited to 16 students per section/semester/summer session.
2. Attain a current TB screening test (within last 6 months) and
3. Purchase an RADT 50 Handbook and Malpractice Insurance Policy ($10) at the Merced College Bookstore prior to the meeting.  The handbook should be read thoroughly prior to the orientation.
4. Attend an orientation meeting (http://www.mccd.edu/alliedhealth/orient.htm) bring with you the following items:
5. Bring copies of the following to the orientation:
  - (2 copies) TB screening test results (in process documentation is not acceptable)
  - (2 copies) Malpractice Insurance Policy receipt
  - RADT 50 Handbook (make sure it is the correct handbook)
  - Registration printout (this will verify enrollment)
6. If the class is closed, you may attend the LAST orientation date scheduled to see if there are any openings due to drops.
Clinical placement will be assigned during mandatory orientation meeting.
VERY IMPORTANT:  Students that do not bring the paperwork listed above must attend another orientation.
**  New students:  will be required to apply for college admission and complete appropriate registration procedures, and obtain a student I.D. card prior to enrolling for this class.
