Merced College Study Central Extends hours

         “Study Central”, located in the cafeteria at Merced College, has extended its hours for the spring semester.  New study hours will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

         To better assist Merced College students, three new student peer guides have been hired and 12 academic workshops will be offered throughout the semester.  These workshops will include instruction in study skills, writing, critical thinking, financial aid, how to prepare for finals, and more.  Students can pick up a list of the workshops at “Study Central.”
