February 1, 2007 The 2007 Business Forum at Merced College begins with a topic of interest for the entire community: the local economy and housing market. Economist Tapan Munroe and management specialist Lon Hatamiya will lead the forum’s first seminar titled “The Economy and Housing Market: Outlook for 2007.” The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 27 beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the Merced College Theater. This year’s business forum follows last year’s successful first annual event. The 2007 Business Forum is underwritten by major corporate sponsor County Bank in partnership with the Merced Sun-Star and Radio Merced’s KYOS Newstalk 1480 and KLBS Oldies 97.5, and in association with the Merced College Foundation.
