Now’s the time to find out as The “Business Forum 2006 Series” presents the final seminar on business and economic development with guest speaker Dave Kilby, California Chamber Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary. Kilby will speak on the economic impact of legislation and statewide ballot measures, Wed., April 19, from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Merced College Theater. Parking is free. For 11 years Kilby served as the Chamber’s lobbyist on land use, economic development and small business issues. He holds a B.A. degree in political science from Fresno State and is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute of Organization Management program and was the first recipient of the association’s Chamber of Commerce “Executive of the Year” award. “Business Forum 2006” is sponsored by County Bank, TransCounty Title, Merced School Employees Federal Credit Union, Workforce Investment Board, the Merced Sun-Star, Radio Merced, in association with the Merced College Foundation.
