ZOO-01 GENERAL ZOOLOGY (CAN BIOL 4)
(CSU breadth area B2/B3) 5 units: 3 hours lecture, 6 hours lab.
Prerequisite: BIOL-04 or BIOL-04H. Advisories: ENGL-A, ENGL-41.
This course is an introduction to principles of animal biology. The phylogenetic series, structure, function, heredity, comparative relationships, and evolution of the invertebrates and vertebrates will be studied. This course is designed for life science majors and students in pre-professional programs. (Note: The laboratory portion of this course includes required field trips.) (3/00)
