Professional Photographer from Chowchilla, Jeff Gwartney owns a Full Service
Digital Photography Studio
specializing in artistic portraiture combined with leading edge digital
technology.
Gwartney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photojournalism from California
State University Fresno in 1993 and an Associate in Arts degree from Merced
Community College in 1991. At Merced College Gwartney was editor of the
school newspaper and while at Fresno State he was involved in the university
newspaper as a full time photographer.
Working his way up through the ranks in the newspaper industry, he started
out as a photo lab technician for a weekly Merced newspaper. Gwartney
has traveled as a photojournalist throughout the country for the Associated
Press, various newspapers and freelanced for nationally circulated magazines.
His work has appeared in publications in much of the Western United States.
Gwartney is very active in the photographic industry and his community
and has served on the executive board of the Chowchilla Chamber of Commerce
as President. He has juried and critiqued several art shows, exhibits
and competitions and is an active member in PPA (Professional Photographers
Association), WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International)
and NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals).
Gwartney’s Studio offers clients the opportunity to have a one of
a kind portrait created with the advantages of latest in digital photography.

Gwartney is married, has three children and enjoys reading and woodworking
