This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of the sculpting process. A variety of materials explore methods and techniques related to clay, wire, model building, mixed media, wax into cast bronze, or wood and stone carving.

Many individual styles of work from realism to abstraction are encouraged as students become familiar with some of the leading sculptors of the 20th Century.
