The Agricultural Ambassador Program began in 1997 to provide superior leadership training for Merced College students pursuing careers in the agricultural industry.
This elite group of students serve as role models for the Merced College Agriculture Division as they promote higher education and the agricultural industry. Agricultural Ambassadors host leadership workshops for 4-H and FFA students, travel to local high schools to promote higher education and serve as a voice for the Agricultural Industry.
Merced College created and established an Agricultural Ambassador program whereby students learn leadership skills, provide outreach activities for the Agriculture Division, and promote agriculture in the community.
