Merced College is
committed to making our web content accessible to people with disabilities.
We are taking the following steps to make our site more accessible:
- LIFT
- Our HTML pages are checked with Lift Software during the production
process.
- Bobby
- Potentially inaccessibile pages are checked by Bobby™ - Bobby
is a web-based tool that analyzes web pages for their accessibility
to people with disabilities
- Skip Navigation
Feature - This website has a skip navigation feature built
into the upper level pages of the sites hierarchy. It is designed to
allow users accessing our site with screen readers to bypass the global
navigation appearing on the top of each page.
- Accessibility
Testing - Our Web Accessibility Specialist checks suspected
problem pages by running them through a Jaws screen reader.
