Message from the Director of Student Success
Hello everyone! My name is Tomasia Drummond and I am the Director of
Student Success. Having been raised in a family that believes education is
the key to success, I consider it my mission to provide students with
necessary tools to overcome barriers and achieve their educational goals. I
believe that given the correct resources and support, all students who enter
Merced College have the ability to accomplish their dreams.

Lacey Chavez sees her job as an opportunity to give back to the community
and inspire future generations to achieve their academic goals. Lacey is
well aware of the daily obstacles that college students face and their
challenges to becoming and staying motivated in order to achieve their
academic dreams. Her role as Student Success Secretary is to assist faculty,
